OSTEOPATHIC TREATMENT
Osteopathic treatment is a form of manual therapy that is focused on the structure and function relationship of the body, where the structural component is the anatomy and the functional component is the physiology. Treatment is non-invasive and gentle. It is a principles-based practice, meaning that a variety of different techniques may be utilized, but each treatment is individualized and catered to what your body requires during that time.

Osteopathic Manual Practitioners understand that symptoms (i.e., pain, headaches and migraines, digestive issues, respiratory issues, etc.) are simply the resultant of some underlying structural dysfunction. A thorough full-body structural assessment will be done so that your practitioner can understand how mechanical forces are being distributed throughout your body, contributing to and/or producing your symptoms.
Treatment will be applied rhythmically in conjunction with assessment, following osteopathic principles and collective mechanics to restore health. Treatment is gentle and should be relaxing. Through assessment of the entire body and treatment of the underlying cause, the likelihood of reoccurrence of the symptoms over time is decreased.
